01 Dialogue on "Sustainable Water"

On March 10th, as spring began to awaken, the Global Climate Innovation Center (GCIC) was invited to step foot on the campus of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China to jointly conduct a unique seminar and exchange on sustainable themes with this internationally-oriented institution. This exchange focused on "Sustainable Water" as its core topic, aiming to gather wisdom and jointly explore the future path of water resources management.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Zeyu Yao, Scholar and Young Researcher at the Global Climate Innovation Center;

Guest Participant: Jiatong Wang, Project Consultant at the Global Climate Innovation Center.

Multiple experts representing the GCIC collaborated to visit UNNC for a lecture and roundtable dialogue titled "The Beauty of Symbiosis: Resilient Links Between Society and Water".

02 Communication in Activity

At the beginning of the event, we delved into in-depth discussions surrounding the dimension of "resilient management of urban water resources". With the acceleration of urbanization, water resources management faces unprecedented challenges. How to ensure a stable supply of water resources for cities when responding to various natural disasters and emergencies through scientific planning and management became the focus of attention for participants.Next, the topic shifted to "tacit knowledge in water management". We emphasized that water resources management is not just a technical activity but also an art. In practical operations, many seemingly insignificant details often determine the success or failure of management. Therefore,挖掘 (translated as "uncovering") and transmitting these tacit knowledge is of great significance for enhancing the overall level of water resources management.Then, the exchange moved into the session of "sustainable water from an artistic perspective." We re-examined the possibilities of water resources management from an artistic angle. By combining art with science, we can not only inject new vitality into water resources management but also stimulate the enthusiasm of more people to jointly promote the achievement of sustainable development goals.Management can inject new vitality and inspire more people's enthusiasm to jointly advance the realization of sustainable development goals.

03 Paths & Nature

As we reluctantly concluded the lecture, we followed the footsteps of UNNC to an exhibition entirely led by the university's team, focusing on green environmental protection and sustainable development, titled "Paths & Nature". Viewing this series of exhibits and the youthful faces around us reminded us of the details and moments we spent together preparing for exhibitions in the past. Perhaps they were once us, and we will be them in the future.

Summary

New Friends in March

In just a few days, we gained rich and varied experiences and insights. UNNC will strengthen in-depth cooperation with us in the future, conduct research and study activities, and promote industry-academia-research cooperation... We believe that in the near future, we will witness more sustainable innovation practice outcomes blossoming on this land.

In the intertwined spring of March, we have gained another good friend.
