Green Up Global Linked Hiking Event Successfully Concluded! Looking Forward to the Next Exciting Continuation!
International Biodiversity Day, designated by the United Nations on May 22 each year, emphasizes the importance of biodiversity conservation. It aims to raise public awareness and protection consciousness regarding biodiversity. Biodiversity is the core of Earth's life system, crucial for maintaining ecological balance, providing resources, and regulating the climate. However, human activities are threatening the existence of biodiversity, and many species face extinction. In response, the Global Climate Innovation Center (GCIC) launched a sustainable hiking event to bring people closer to nature, feel the charm of biodiversity, and disseminate protection knowledge. We hope that through this event, more people will understand the importance of biodiversity, stimulate protection awareness, and jointly contribute to the conservation of Earth's biodiversity. Let us work together on International Biodiversity Day to protect this beautiful yet fragile Earth home. The Green UP series of global linked May hiking events have successfully concluded. Across four continents and four countries, in nearly ten cities, hundreds of participants jointly mobilized to promote the smooth development of the May hiking events.
